High-quality blockout fabric with a high thread count made from super fine single ply yarns. The curtains are wrinkle resistant soft and have a silk-like feel blocking 95% of light.
These curtains do not completely block out all light especially direct sunlight. The shading rate of most curtains ranges from 50% to 95%. In everyday use the shading rate typically exceeds 80% which is considered full shading while the rest are classified as semi-shading. It is generally advised against using 100% blackout curtains as natural light is beneficial to health. Most bedroom curtains have a shading degree of over 70%.
