Construction:
The housings are made from thermoplastic material featuring silicone seals that protect against extreme temperatures and moisture. Contacts can be solid-copper crimp types for critical circuits or stamped and formed types for cost efficiency. Insertion and removal of contacts do not require special tools and the contacts are secured in place by dielectric fingers integrated into the housing. Colored wedgelocks are used to further secure the contacts.
These connectors are ideal for automotive marine harsh environment and heavy equipment applications where quick and reliable connections are essential.
