Doing for Rome what Woody Allen did for Barcelona in Vicky Cristina Barcelona and Paris in Midnight In Paris To Rome with Love is a romantic comedy that follows four different storylines of family love and travel all set around the Eternal City. Woody Allen’s ensemble comedy centres around the lives of some visitors and residents of Rome their romances adventures and the predicaments they get into. It consists of four vignettes in one of which a husband (played by Allen) and his wife (played by Judy Davis) travel to Rome and meet the family of the Italian man their daughter is going to marry. Another features Roberto Benigni as a man named Leopoldo who is mistaken for a movie star. The third features Alec Baldwin as an architect from California visiting Rome with his friends. In the fourth two newlyweds (Alessandro Tiberi and Alessandra Mastronardi) go to Rome in order to visit relatives but instead get lost in the city.
